In the afternoon, we arrive at Bali airport. Welcome to Bali, the island that awakens all the senses! After completing the necessary visa procedures and collecting our luggage, we transfer to our hotel in Ubud, the artistic soul of the island. Along the way, the first images of the lush rice fields, traditional temples, and the smiles of the locals give us a first glimpse of the beauty to come. Arrival and check-in at the hotel. The rest of the day is dedicated to rest and adjustment to the tropical climate. Those who wish may enjoy a gentle stroll through the center of Ubud, where picturesque alleyways are filled with small restaurants, cafés, and shops offering local creations.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for our first full-day exploration of magical Bali. We begin with a visit to a traditional coffee plantation, where we will learn the secrets of the famous Luwak coffee, the rarest and most expensive coffee in the world. Here, we will have the opportunity to sample different varieties of local coffee and tea while enjoying the views of the tropical vegetation.
We then head to the famous Tegallalang rice terraces, one of the island’s most iconic landscapes. The impressive terraced fields create a natural “mosaic” of green shades, perfect for photographs. Those who wish may try the famous Bali Swings and the zip line, or take a walk along the paths through the rice terraces.
The day concludes with a visit to the Monkey Forest, a magical sacred forest filled with imposing temples and playful monkeys living in harmony with nature. Return to our hotel in Ubud and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we depart for an exciting excursion to the northern part of the island. Our first stop is Lake Beratan and the impressive Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, dedicated to the goddess of the waters. The temple appears to float on the surface of the lake, creating one of the most iconic landscapes in Bali. We then continue to Leke Leke Waterfall, a hidden gem deep in the jungle. A short hike leads us to this waterfall, where the water drops from a great height into a natural setting of incredible beauty. Our day ends with a visit to the Hadara Gates, the iconic “Gates of Paradise,” where taking a photograph with the sky and mountains in the background is almost a ritual for every traveler. The day is dedicated to relaxation and personal exploration. Enjoy the sun and sea on the beaches of Seminyak, stroll through the picturesque shops of the area, or treat yourself to a traditional Balinese massage for complete rejuvenation. For those seeking a more adventurous experience, an optional day trip is recommended to Nusa Penida, one of the most spectacular and unexplored islands of Bali. Departure takes place early in the morning by speedboat, crossing the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Our first stop is Melasti Beach, a stunning beach with steep rocky formations and crystal-clear waters, ideal for photographs and for enjoying the natural beauty of the island. The dramatic cliffs descending into the sea and the small coves create a breathtaking setting.
We then continue to Uluwatu Temple, one of the most famous temples in Bali, built atop steep cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean. The visit coincides with sunset, offering magical views and a unique atmosphere. Here we will watch the traditional Kecak dance, a spectacular performance in which dozens of dancers sing and dance around a fire, bringing to life legends and mythological stories of Bali in an atmosphere full of energy and magic. After the visit and the performance, our tour concludes in Jimbaran, famous for its fresh seafood and beachfront restaurants.
